Meet Laura, LID’s Founder & Principal Interior Designer

Professionally educated & trained Interior Designer.  Entrepreneur.  Quaintrelle.  Mother of two young gentleman & an English Cream Golden.

With a sophisticated & discerning eye, Laura is drawn to beauty, while her soul craves deep, meaningful experiences.  Every detail matters.  Smart.  Stylish.  Gritty.

Laura graduated from the top interior design school in the country, The New York School of Interior Design, holds a B.F.A. in visual arts from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and a Certificate in Construction Management from Colorado State University.  Her professional studies in art history, interior design, and construction management are an asset to her work as a designer.

While her early career was focused on retail design in New York City — capable of identifying many different clients’ needs & designing for them — her implicit passion lies in designing timeless interiors and bridging the gap between design and construction.

Behind the scenes, Laura is often considered a “secret weapon” to many of its’ partners and clients.  Having the ability to thoughtfully design for clients and also anticipate the needs of contractors and trade professionals down stream.  Laura has the ability to manage every detail of a project and effectively communicate with both clients and construction professionals to execute a project and achieve her client’s goals.  This is her strength and what sets her a part from other designers.

Many of Laura’s clients simply lack the time to curate and manage projects on the boards.  Iverson will listen to your needs and dreams, capture the meaningful details, transform your home and the way you live, making your home your most favorite place on earth.

Laura’s hard work and talent has been published nationally, with projects completed in New York City, the Hamptons, Hudson Valley, Boulder, Aspen, Vail, Denver, Jackson Hole and Montana.

When out of the studio, you can find Laura adventuring with her boys out west—skiing the steep, mountain biking, fly fishing in Montana, jetting to Maui, or cruising around in a vintage muscle car.
